Rich Cox grew up in an imaginary world and only recently discovered reality by watching American Idol. His parents enforced daily vocabulary cards and encouraged his use of puns and improvising lyrics to songs which led to his incredible popularity in high school (perhaps you have heard of him). After years of improvising with people in real” life he found himself and his acceptance with other actual improvisers.

Finding BATS sparked an instant love of improv which continues today for Rich when watching, learning, performing and teaching improv. Rich particualrly enjoys watching new improvisers discover the magic of improv. Since starting rich has been doing some form of improv consisitently except for a 5 month break to walk 2600 miles from Mexico to Canada along the Pacific Crest Trail in 2003. (Yes, it's real...look it up).

When not improvising Rich helps non-profits with fundraising (he is also working on a time machine in his garage).
