A four-day, full immersion improv excursion. Customize your
class schedule with 12-person workshops such as improv tools,
character, story, mask, and singing. Explore character, story,
performance games, secrets, and more.
You will start each day with an improv movement workout, then
jump right in to your customized class schedule with 12-person
workshops. Lunchtimes will feature Learning Cafes with topics
such as "Forming Your Own Troupe" and "Improv Off The Stage."
The program will be loaded with opportunities to share your
thoughts and questions with coaches and other players. Designed
for beginning to intermediate improvisers with separate tracks
for both. Includes 28 hours of instruction.

Spend
four days with William Hall and Rebecca Stockley, BATS Company
players who have worked with Keith for over 20 years. Work
with them, and other guest BATS coaches, while you explore
Keith's revolutionary ideas about theater, comedy, storytelling
and imagination. Topics include story, status, spontaneity,
acting, and comedy (but each day is influenced by student
interests, so bring your questions.) This intensive is open
to improvisers of all experience levels. 24 hours of total
instruction.

Welcome
to Long-Form Summer Intensive 2008—The best, most in-depth
and quality Long-Form education that 4 days can offer. BATS
Long-Form training focuses on the core elements that make
San Francisco-style Long-Form successful. Explore BATS Improv's
unique style of sustained, improvised narratives while working
with master coaches on professional vocal and physical stage
techniques.
This
intensive program of Long-Form improv performance training
is for improvisers with previous performing experience who
want to step up to the next level.
Lunchtime Learning Cafe topics will include "Developing Long-Form
Formats " and "Researching Genres." Includes 32 hours of instruction.
